Drinking Beer and Playing Pool
In my efforts to get back involved with the Design community, I have kept the AIGA on my RSS radar. I was very excited to see James Victore coming to the Northwest on his new book tour for “Victore or who made you boss”.
I started some emails between AIGA, Victore and Art Chantry to see if they might like to grab lunch. I knew James had visited Art over 18 years ago on a last minute trip to Seattle. I was lucky enough to grab lunch with the both of them. Soon we were playing pool at the Comet Tavern. I got to talk to the both of them about being on your own as a designer and what experience they have had the good, the bad and the ugly.
